04Jun24: Completed Pisador Libro de Musica de Vihuela by finishing Book 7, which consisted of villanescas, and various other vocal works, by Fontana, Willaert and others, some intabulated and many others rendered as lute songs. One, “Madonna mia, famme bon’offerta“, was so badly messed up in the original that I had to resort to making a version from the vocal original. This, I feel, was in the spirit of the other works, as the intabulations have been fairly literal.
