16Jun24: Completed work on Robert Ballard’s 2nd volume, “Diverses Pièces mises sur le luth” (1614). This consists of 5 ballets, most consisting of several parts, 17 courantes, a volte, two galliards, and 11 branles of various kinds. All the pieces are of easy or medium difficulty except the two galliards, which are unique both in being more challenging and being stylistically different from the other pieces.
