26Feb25: I completed work on Giralomo Scotto Intabolatura de Lauto de Diversi Autori (1563). That turned out to be an easy one, because most, but not all, of the pieces are copies of pieces in Castiglione’s edition of 1563, including copies of most, but not all, of the errors. The main differences were that the Scotto edition tended to leave out many of the right hand fingerings and introduced a few errors of its own.

Of particular interest in this edition is a Borrono fantasia that I had not encountered before.
