03Nov25: I just finished another 66 items from Montbuisson. There are several lute songs, a number of short exercises, courantes, correntes and voltas, as well as another prelude by Tracetti. Also included in the MS are 9 mensural pieces consisting of a vocal line and a bass line. I have not included these.
Many of the pieces in this MS are associated with one “M.L.H.”, possibly the composer or intabulator. Does anyone have a clue about who this might be?
