01Jun24: Completed Book 6 of Pisador’s Libro de Musica para Vihuela. This consists of 13 intabulations of motets pf Basurto, Gombert, Josquin, and others, with a vocal part added in colored notes. The last one, by Gombert, is a very ambitious attempt to put seven voices on a 6-course lute. Pisador added the eighth part on a vocal mensural stave.
